Onboarding processes vary in scope and consist of a group of individual steps that the client must complete to provide the necessary data.
Onboarding processes are set up and managed in collaboration with the Meo Care team. The whole onboarding system is made extremely configurable and you can make the process do almost what you want. This is made, so that you can tailor the onboarding experience and provide your clients with the best and most professional onboarding experience.
These are the elements in the onboarding processes:
- Name - a simple step for providing the name
- Email - a simple step for providing the verified email
- Phone - a simple step for providing the verified phone number
- National ID number - - a simple step for providing the national ID number
- Address - a simple step for providing the personal address
- Info section - A introduction section where the client can be informed about the next step
- Company information (from third party data source) - the most complex step. This is where all of the company basic information is collected such as power to bind, company registration number, company address, ownership, management team, board of directors, etc.
- Electronic ID verifications, e.g. MitID in Denmark - this is for verifying the identity of the person by two-factor authentication.
- Documents - a simple document upload. This can either be a single-document upload or a multi-document upload. And it can be specific data types if supported, e.g. Articles of Association is a specific supported data type, while ‘Document’ is a generic catch-all document type. You can always specify for the client which document is required.
- ID documents - This is the same as for documents, except that we have a verification element. Read more about that in the article about ID verification.
- Questionnaires - A collection of questions that can be used to ask your clients for text based input. A typically used questionnaire is a questionnaire about Politically Exposed Person status.
- Data on behalf of others - This section is used, if a contact person can provide ID data on behalf of the Ultimate Beneficial Owners.
- Email addresses on behalf of Ultimate Beneficial Owners - if the contact person cannot provide the ID data on behalf of the Ultimate Beneficial Owners, then we typically require the email addresses so that you can request the Ultimate Beneficial Owners directly for ID data.
