How to request information from UBOs

1 min read

Requesting information from a UBO is simple, and can be done in two ways:

  1. Using the Request section
  1. Using the ‘Company Contacts’-data

Using the request section is identical to a normal information request for a client, you just need to choose the appropriate process (typically a person KYC process or a UBO KYC process, depending on your setup).

Starting a request from a ‘Company Contacts’-data can be used, when a contact person has completed a Company KYC request without providing the ID information of the UBO(s). In this case, the company profile will have a data of the type ‘Company Contacts’, that contains all of the contact information of the individuals related to the company. Typically it will contain emails of the UBOs, but it might also include emails for the management team and/or the board of directors - it depends on the specific instructions in the process.

Simply open that data, and choose the ‘Request’ actions. This will open a Request-form for you to send the KYC request to the person.

Note that using requests from Company Contacts will automatically add a relation between the company and the person.

The ?-symbol on a person indicates that the person is unknown to your company. There is no person with that email address on your account. The person-symbol indicates that the person is known to your account, and hovering the name gives a link to the person’s account.
