What do I need to consider when setting up my Meo Workspace?

2 min read

In this article, we will provide an introduction to the considerations when setting up your Meo Workspace. There are four main things to consider:

  • Data requirements (aka flows)
  • Risk assessment and case/client approval
  • Branding
  • Website integration
  • API integration

Branding

The Meo compliance tool provides you with a few options to brand the customer experience towards your clients.

In the Administration section, you can customize the logo and primary color of the user interface. The following items are using your branding color:

  • Emails
  • Onboarding experience
  • Your section on the client’s Meo account

The color should be in the hex format, for example #2D5DE7 for Meo’s default color code. The color should be a solid, ideally dark color. This is due to the color also being used for buttons and actions, and a light color button often indicates an inactive button. So we strongly recommend a darker color. Ask your Meo representative if you are in doubt.

The logo should be up to 500px wide, 100px tall and up to 100 KB in size. We support both png and svg file formats. We recommend keeping the logo in a white color and the background in a solid color.

Website integration

We strongly recommend integrating our onboarding interface onto your website. This lets your clients provide their sensitive information on a secure and known location, to minimize the risk of phishing attempts and to increase the user experience of your clients.

See the full article on setting up the website integration here.

For the integration, we strongly recommend setting up a subdomain such as onboarding.example.com.

API integration

We have a public API that is suitable for integrating Meo into your existing systems. You can create an API key in your workspace here:

Please see our API documentation for more information on the possibilities when using an API integration.
